I am thinking of getting a lip gloss plumper from maybelline, rimmel, covergirl, wet n 'wild, or NYC color. I was wondering which one would you recommend for quality, worth your money, and has good results?Lip gloss plumper?
NOT worth your money. My close friend tested it out. It works HORRIBLY. She said it stings and burns the lips. It does not at all plump your lips. It's unnecessary. It looks like regular lipgloss. She's tried the NYC and the Rimmel brand of lip plumpers. Both with similiar, failing results. If you look online, most people have nothing positive to say about the product. You can test it out if you'd like or buy a more expensive brand. You can usually take it back if bought from a professional store, even if slightly used.Lip gloss plumper?
Avon has a Anew Plump and Smooth Lip System, it is $25.00 and it does work, I love it.

i tried revolon, and it did not sting or burn. but i would also recomend you using rimmel.

Do those lip plumper lip glosses really work?
I wish my upper lip was a little more plump but I REFUSE to get any kind of surgery or injection so I was wondering if any one has had any luck with the plumping lip glosses. Lip plumpers will only make your lip fuller for a few minutes, an hour or two tops. If you want your lips to look fuller you can always try using a lip liner just outside of your lip (not up under your nose, but still touching the top of your natural lip line) and that will instantly make your lip look fuller. You can also try sticking to lighter colors, that helps too. Good luck!

well, im not too fond of lip plumpers because of the price, so ive come up with a cheaper solution i do before i leave the house. i mix a good amount of red pepper caynne pepper with vaseline. i make it into a mask, and wear it on my lips for about five minutes. its really plumps the lips up for a good amount of time. rub it off with a towel. but just a warning, it does sting a bit, but so do lip plumpers.

No unfortunately I don't. I bought a relatively expensive gel, which claimed to have collagen as a main ingredient. It was a waste of money and have found clear lip gloss to give a greater effect than using this product every night for three weeks. Unfortunately there is no easy way without surgery, sorry. Good luck with whatever you decide to do and experiment with makeup to find a look that you are happy with.Does anyone know of any lip plumping methods? Glosses, gels etc, that actually work?

I am having some sort of reaction, not sure if it is from this lip plumper i used but the reaaction began shortly after putting it on. It started with my lip wanting to freeze up on one side and stiffin on me. Then progressed by spreading to my cheek area, my nose, and my eye, the whole right side of my face is now a lil stiff and it won't move like the left side will, like normal. My mom says those are signs of a stroke, and now I am experiencing a lil blurred vision on my right eye as well. this all happened within a 48 hour period. not sure if it's just a minor reaction to the collogen in the lip gloss or if it is going to lead to a stroke from the collogen. so can you get a stroke from the lip plumper? I used the sexy mother pucker lip gloss from target. I never had a reaction before, I used it several time and this is the first time.Is it possable to get a stroke from lip plumping lip glosses?

I am pretty sure it is not a stroke, but it sounds like a pretty serious allergic reaction. It might not necessarily be the collagen, but it could be any of the other ingredients. Does it have capsasin or cinnamon in it? I have heard of people being allergic to those and having reactions from the plumper glosses with those in it.
If it continues, go see your doctor. Also, in the mean time, you might want to try some Benadryl and see if that helps.

I am pretty sure it is not a stroke, but it sounds like a pretty serious allergic reaction. It might not necessarily be the collagen, but it could be any of the other ingredients. Does it have capsasin or cinnamon in it? I have heard of people being allergic to those and having reactions from the plumper glosses with those in it.
If it continues, go see your doctor. Also, in the mean time, you might want to try some Benadryl and see if that helps.

its the ingredient that make them numb...they have menthol or ginger and cinnamon in them that naturally reacts with your skin.if the sensation bothers you you can try cirtain tricks when you apply your lipstick or gloss... the darker the lipgloss or lipstick the smaller your lips will appear..vise versa the lighter the bigger and fuller.or you could use lip liner to make your lips fuller use a tone that is closest to your natural lip colour and apply it on the top lip just on the grove under your nose not all the way out to your outer lips and on the bottom in the middle just rub over them a little so they are not too noticable. then apply your lipstick then put gloss in the center of your bottom lip rather then all over the light will reflect that area and make your lips appear fuller .and when you apply foundation you can also put a little on your lips this will make your lipstick stay longer

you might as well just cut a really hot pepper in half and hold it between your lips if you dont want colour or shine. anythign really hot causes inflamation, even on the lips. that the plumping ingredient in many plumping lip products anyway.

Lip plumpers will only make your lip fuller for a few minutes, an hour or two tops. If you want your lips to look fuller you can always try using a lip liner just outside of your lip (not up under your nose, but still touching the top of your natural lip line) and that will instantly make your lip look fuller. You can also try sticking to lighter colors, that helps too. Good luck!

liner and that would make your lips stand out.
Without using a plumper, the best thing is to probably take your normal lipgloss, and apply like a big dot, in the middle of your lower lip. It then gives off the appearance of having fuller lips

I have no experience with it but its an idea.
Avon has a terrific lip conditioner that also plumps the lips. It's not colored so you can wear it alone and your lips will look natural or you could use it under lip gloss or lipstick. The conditioner keeps your lips in really good shape. I feel incomplete without mine. I used to always get complimented on my breasts, now I always get complimented on my lips!
Find a lip liner that exactly matches the lip color you want to use. You can use the liner to outline your lips just outside your natural lip line--don't go too far out or you'll look like a Barnum and Bailey reject--then fill in your lips with the lip color. This will make your lips look more full without looking unnatural (and my personal opinion is that lip ';plumpers'; can make lips look strange rather than naturally full). Hope this helps!

Use lipstick and/or lipgloss in a light color. Darker shades make your lips appear smaller. Glossy lips definetly make your lips look plumper. For more definition and plumper look, try defining your lip bow by using the one from Benefit. I believe their sit shows you how it works too.
use lipstick on your bottom lip. Not all over, basically just draw a line right down the middle of your lip. Blend it so it's not just a line randomly there. It works as shading to make it look like your lips are bigger than they really are. Apply a light gloss, and you're done.
Why not a plumper?
But if you dont want to use that, then use lip liner around the outside of your lips. Then find a lipgloss that matches the lip liner. Apply that and make sure it looks natural. If You wanted you could also use a natural color lipstick over your lip liner. Just put the liner AROUND, Not on the edges of your lips. It will make them look fuller.
Try outlining with a lighter lip liner right at the edge of your lips.

could try a nice lipstick shade, with matching lip
liner and that would make your lips stand out.
Without using a plumper, the best thing is to probably take your normal lipgloss, and apply like a big dot, in the middle of your lower lip. It then gives off the appearance of having fuller lips

I have no experience with it but its an idea.
Avon has a terrific lip conditioner that also plumps the lips. It's not colored so you can wear it alone and your lips will look natural or you could use it under lip gloss or lipstick. The conditioner keeps your lips in really good shape. I feel incomplete without mine. I used to always get complimented on my breasts, now I always get complimented on my lips!
Find a lip liner that exactly matches the lip color you want to use. You can use the liner to outline your lips just outside your natural lip line--don't go too far out or you'll look like a Barnum and Bailey reject--then fill in your lips with the lip color. This will make your lips look more full without looking unnatural (and my personal opinion is that lip ';plumpers'; can make lips look strange rather than naturally full). Hope this helps!

Use lipstick and/or lipgloss in a light color. Darker shades make your lips appear smaller. Glossy lips definetly make your lips look plumper. For more definition and plumper look, try defining your lip bow by using the one from Benefit. I believe their sit shows you how it works too.
use lipstick on your bottom lip. Not all over, basically just draw a line right down the middle of your lip. Blend it so it's not just a line randomly there. It works as shading to make it look like your lips are bigger than they really are. Apply a light gloss, and you're done.
Why not a plumper?
But if you dont want to use that, then use lip liner around the outside of your lips. Then find a lipgloss that matches the lip liner. Apply that and make sure it looks natural. If You wanted you could also use a natural color lipstick over your lip liner. Just put the liner AROUND, Not on the edges of your lips. It will make them look fuller.
Try outlining with a lighter lip liner right at the edge of your lips.

None are miraculous sadly. The best I've used are Lip Venom and Clinique Full Potential (which comes in lots of colors and you can try it on first and buy it in person at any major department store). It's a bit sticky but great and very glossy! Try some! Hope this helps!!

I recently bought their XL version thats more of an overnight treatmeant and i've only used it for 3 days. I'm wondering if its actually worked or if I'm just now more aware of my lips causing them to have more of a pout... whatever it is its definitely made my lips a little firmer and noticeable. (i have good sized lips already; just looking to balance the top lip a bit more with the bottom) The only thing is its entirely overpriced at $50 for xl treatment and $38 for lipglosses :0(

you dont really need plumpers cuz they dont really work. to get full lips take a nude lip pencil and line your lips with it then fill them in. then take a clear closs and coat your lips with it and put an extra coat on the bottom lip and a little more in the center. opalescent lipstic makes the lower lip look fuller.

if possible pick up a lil bottle of Vitamin E oil from your local health shop, but this isnt necessary, it moisturises really well its great for your skin but if you cant find it dont worry u dont need it to make these lip plumpers.
scoop out a small amount of vaseline (just enough to cover your lips!) onto a plate/bowl.
take a tiny pinch of your chosen spice and mix it well with the vaseline
now put 1 tiny drop of vitamin E (if you have it)
apply this to your lips, carefully making sure you dont go outside the lip line. leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off and apply moisturising balm or gloss. your lips will be soo plump and pink it always works!
make up:

Then play up your eyes %26amp; eyelashes so people really see their color %26amp; shape.
The only reason i know of too not wear it is cause u already have big lips as it is. and if u go and use plumping lipgloss. It's going to make u look really bad cause ur making ur lips look way too big. but if u like it and u dont think it makes ur lips look too big than wear it. i use one every now and than just cause i like the feeling it gives.

a good inexpensive plumping gloss i find is from Collection 2000, its minty, tingles and lasts about an hour and it doesn't dry out the lips, i made my own recipe for PL gloss once, it was brilliant, full red lips for about 3 hours straight, although the gloss did tend to make my lips dry out, i should try and rectify that some day.
Stinging is normal - all you are doing is irritating your lips. Usually the ingredients are cinnamon or mint. I never found them to last very long at all and eventually, if you keep reapplying, it will dry out your lips and cause chapping.
The stinging is supposed to mean that it's working, but it always hurts my lips so bad that I have to wipe it off! I stay away from it. It seems like too much trouble for what it's worth.

I can't stand the taste of hot cinnamon. I don't mind the real stuff that you bake with, or sprinkle on a cappuccino, but I LOATHE hot cinnamon gum, atomic fireballs, etc. Also, I like to use lip plumping gloss; I think Lip Venom works great, and the Sally Hanson Lip Inflation Extreme works nicely, too. But, ugh, the taste. I can barely tolerate it. If anyone can recommend a lip plumper that works and has no cinnamon taste, that would be great. PS, I don't mind the burning sensation, I don't mind ginger or hot pepper.

I use a lip plumping gloss from Arbonne. You have to find a cunsultant to buy it but it works really well. my only suggestion would be that if you have dry lips that you allow the plumping serum you apply first to fully absorb other wise it tends to pull the color through the cracks and appears sloppy.
No, it is skin safe. Your lips are more sensitive than your skin. It is usually essential oils that cause the ';plump';..I have one that uses Cinnamon oil.. smells yummy and works great..

I use a lip plumping gloss from Arbonne. You have to find a cunsultant to buy it but it works really well. my only suggestion would be that if you have dry lips that you allow the plumping serum you apply first to fully absorb other wise it tends to pull the color through the cracks and appears sloppy.
No, it is skin safe. Your lips are more sensitive than your skin. It is usually essential oils that cause the ';plump';..I have one that uses Cinnamon oil.. smells yummy and works great..
It won't hurt you, it may make it puff and feel irritated though.

i dnt know bout that one but i know the one from DIOR is great..stays stuck there..usually stars use them too..keeps the lipstick in place and pulps up ure lips and gets them redish too..i like it,aldo..cnt use it too often..its really strong.

it tingles, make your lips a deep red and more plump for a couple of hours.

it really does work, i've tried it. it makes your lips tingle %26amp; definitely makes them more plumped. ive only used the clear one but they do it in different colours.

ok. ive tried alot of lip plumpers but i havnt found any that work for me.

but recently ive been mixing sugar and olive oil in a bowl[a tiny amount]
%26amp; have been scrubing it on my lips over the sink. %26amp; i think it works, becase the sugar exfoliates your lips %26amp; gets rid of the dead skin %26amp; the olive oil moistruizes them. therefore making them bigger, fuller lips!!! =]
I really love Urban Decay 'Big Fatty' lip plumper, it's great and plumping up lips and has a tingling sensation - but most lip plumpers do.
Or you could try a cheaper option and just eat spicy chilli foods - spicy food plumps up lips :)
