the chemicals in it to make your lips plump have diffrent effects on everyone. but yes it is chemicals and basically it just irritates your lips so they become inflamed thats the PLUMPing look.. however some of them do actually microinject collegian try one of those.. they dont stingPlumping Lip Gloss...?
its the ingredient that make them numb...they have menthol or ginger and cinnamon in them that naturally reacts with your skin.if the sensation bothers you you can try cirtain tricks when you apply your lipstick or gloss... the darker the lipgloss or lipstick the smaller your lips will appear..vise versa the lighter the bigger and fuller.or you could use lip liner to make your lips fuller use a tone that is closest to your natural lip colour and apply it on the top lip just on the grove under your nose not all the way out to your outer lips and on the bottom in the middle just rub over them a little so they are not too noticable. then apply your lipstick then put gloss in the center of your bottom lip rather then all over the light will reflect that area and make your lips appear fuller .and when you apply foundation you can also put a little on your lips this will make your lipstick stay longer
i have small lips and i tried three seconds of this and was like you know what, f*ck this.

i really suggest just getting lip liner.


obviously make it your lip color and just outline it.

it makes it numb because what lip plumpers do, is PURPOSELY irritate your skin. so all your blood flows and makes your lips bigger. kind of like when youre allergic, everything swells. well they make you allergic lol.
Plumping glosses usually somewhat feel that way if u feel something tingly...or idk w/e it feels lke haha


But if it hurts u might be having an reaction.
idk bout numb but it usually makes em tingle lol...=] ive tried those b4 only becuz its a better lipgloss...regular and extreme regular usually tingles and extreme feels like its burning but it should go away dont worry about it lol..=]
because there is a certain something they put it in to make them numb which make them thicken up. it is normal, and so is a tingle. just what ever you do don't get it on your tongue! its not a pretty feeling!!
